Senior Dry Cargo Broker
We are currently seeking a Senior Shipbroker /Chartering Manager to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to fill a sought after senior position within a successful brokerage firm.
Responsible to the Managing Director you will be expected to handle the brokering needs of the company's clients.
To apply for this role you must have at least 5 years experience in dry cargo chartering or broking.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team.

Dry Cargo Broker

There is an immediate requirement for an experienced Dry Cargo Broker.
Based in London, you will be responsible for the entire shipping process.
The successful candidates will be energetic intelligent go-getters with a strong customer focus, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and communication skills. This business-minded candidate must have hands-on experience in dry cargo and chartering.
All candidates must speak and write English without hesitation.
Job Responsibilities
 Sourcing and fixing Handy to Panamax vessels either direct with ship owners and managers or by liaising with other brokers
Work closely with company traders
Negotiate Charterparty terms
Carry out post fixture operations and monitor vessel and charter performance
Occasionally supervise cargo loading and discharge operation
Handle ship and cargo related documents.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Master Mariner or relevant degree
Conversant with latest provisions of charterparties
Determined and proactive
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
